Dagger

The dagger, or long knife, is a one-handed double edged blade. Due to its size and weight, it is often a secondary weapon for military units. These weapons do have limited reach and damage, but are easier to conceal than other weappons. This is one of the reason the dagger is refered to as a murder weapon by nobles. Commoners often use daggers as more of a tool than a weapon.
