Appearance
Elves are slender humanoids with long pointed ears and almond shaped eyes. Hair is usually long and tied back or braided. Face and body paints are a common sight as it helps them blend into the wilderness.
Attitude
They have a very strong affinity with the natural world and more specifically the deep forest. While attractive Elves have a wild almost feral look about them when met by strangers. These are people that live a hard life and understand its value. Once you become accepted into their community they show a warm sense of community and are often openly playful.

Elves feel the land is alive and they look for signs that help guide them with decisions throughout life. Any area a Elven city moves into is considered a part of their family and they will go to extreme lengths to protect it. Farms, Mines and Logging are done in a manor that has little impact on the environment. Even if this holds off construction of new buildings.
Architecture
Founding new cities is a long process as the Elves will use temporary structures made of local materials when they first move into a location. Later permanent structures are made that blend into the surroundings as the city grows. Once built Elven cities are a wonder of camouflaged design with streets that seem to flow naturally like a well used trail. It is said that a wander can stray right past an Elven city and not notice it.
Leadership
Elves have a chieftain system of rule. Control is shared with a Grand Shaman and some say the grand shaman is the real leader of a city as no decision is made, even by the chief, without first consulting the shaman, who will in turn commune with the spirits of the land for their input.
Noble Dress
With no true nobility the chieftain is distinguished by pants made from animal hide. Sewn together with beads and feathers worked in along the seams. In colder weather a similar coat is worn. A feathered crown marks a chieftain.
Devotes Dress
The grand shaman will wear a outfit similar to the chieftain but it will have more animal bones and skulls. For other shaman these skulls represent their city and rank.
Arcanist Dress
Dressed as a commoner but their bodies are heavily tattooed Tattoos denote rank and the arcane studies they have pursued.
Combatant Dress
As per armor worn.
Merchant Dress
As per commoner.
Trades Dress
As per commoner.
Commoner Dress
Pants made from cloth, or leather. Beads are commonly used as hair and clothing decoration as are colorful stones and some metals like silver and gold.
