Appearance
The tiger is a large cat. They have a distinctive black, brown or gray stripe pattern on their body over an orange fur that turns white on its underparts. The face has a white fringe on the sides. The face is wide with a wide nose.

Eye color is yellow except in the case of the white tiger which are blue.

The white tiger as the name suggest is white or cream in color and the stripes are often faded, but still present.

The rare golden tiger is like a normal tiger except the stripes are almost completely faded and gives the coat a more uniform color that still turns lighter on the under parts and has the white fringe on the face.

A legendary black tiger has be rumored but never seen.
Attitude
Tigers are solitary hunters with large areas that they hunt in and defend. These areas also overlap and a male will overlap his area with numerous females. Daughters will maintain a territory near their mother at first and then move farther away. Sons will generally move far away from the mothers. A tigers father does not stay to raise their young and have no bonds with them.

While tigers are solitary they have been know to share a kill, even with tigers that are not related to them. Sometimes they are even willing to share a kill with another carnivore, but this behavior is rare. More likely a tiger will kill other carnivores in its territory. Oddly though they never eat another carnivore unless very hungry.

Even though these cats are large they are still good climbers and powerful swimmers. So confidant they even going so far as to attack prey in the water, which includes pythons and crocodiles.
Leadership
Tigers have no known leadership
Encounter Tactics
Like all cats a tiger will use stealth to sneak up on a target and launch an attack. Larger prey is attacked at the throat and killed by asphyxia. The tiger will hold on with its claws as this will through the victim off balance. Smaller prey is attacked at the back of the neck to either break the neck or sever the arteries. Some tigers attack with just use a swipe of the paw to crush the skull.
