This is a catch all for a number of related diseases, like HIV (Human Immune Deficiency) and SIV (Simian Immune Deficiency) The disease lowers the immune system of its host permitting a greater chance of infection from other diseases.
Type:
Virus - A virus is a very small organism that can only reproduce inside an infected host. Outside of a host it can survive in a dormant state for a long time. They can infect almost any type of living creature, including bateria.

Symptoms:
Stage 1: Fever, night sweats, swollen glands, chills, weakness, and weight loss.
Stage 2: Secondary infects have a continued ease of infection. This includes an increase difficulty of +10 to any other infection for every month one has IDS. This increase also applies to rolls for a given infection.
