DESC: Your people can blend their bodies and personal equipment to match the background or environment. This power is contested by a sensory power or plain vision. The contest is made easier by the speed of the user and harder by the distance to the viewer. Speed is the max movement, measured in steps, you can use before you take negatives. Bigger species with a longer step will by default "move faster" than a smaller creature. So a creature should have a -1 difficulty for every 2 meters in height or length which ever is the larger number.

The base of 0 mean you must stand still to take no negatives. For every step over the speed that you move take an additional -3. So if you have the default of 0 and move 3 spaces you will incur a -9 penalty on the difficulty. But if you have a base speed of 3, you would need to move 6 steps before you incur the same penalty.

When you pay for the chameleon power you must decide on what sensory type your power is verses, the base speed and difficulty. If you want to have chameleon work against more than one type of sensory power you must buy them each.
