Appearance
The Green Anaconda is the largest of the of the Anacondas Species. The eyes are positioned high on the head which allows the snake to keep most of its body low in the water and remain hidden. Behind the eyes on each side of the head is a black line and a pale orange area of colored scales. The rest of the body and tail is colored in a olive green with dark spots on the back. The green lightens and yellows on the belly, while the spots gain a yellowish green spot ringed with black on the sides.
Attitude
The Anaconda is a snake that will almost eat anything it can overpower and kill with constriction. This animal is a solo hunter and so most encounters are with one animal. The exception is during the rainy season which is when they will bread. A female will stay in one location while males will come from many directions to the female. When the males arrive they mesh together in a mass of snakes all on one female. This ball of snakes can go on for 1 to 2 weeks none stop. After the activity is over the snakes are quite hungry but none more so than the female and she is more than willing to eat the first thing she can catch, even if it one of the males that just left her.
Leadership
Anacondas are solo hunters and do not have any leadership system
Encounter Tactics
It will often hunt from the water and wait for prey to come to the water to drink. It will then attack and latch on with its bite and start to coil around the target. Once it has a few coils wrapped around the target it will begin constricting in an attempt to suffocate it. After the prey has been killed it will begin to swallow the targets entire body. Depending on the size of the prey it can be several days to a week or two before the snake needs to hunt again.
Encounter Count
1 Solo
2-17 in a breeding ball, or just after.
Trainable
It is said that some spell casters have had snakes as a companion. There may be a mystical bond that is used in such cases as normal training methods will not work.
