Spot

Spot is a passive skill and maybe rolled by the dm. It reflects your ability to notice something that you are not looking for (that requires a search). A dm can assign a difficulty and then roll to see if the user rolls it. The reason the dm makes the roll is so the player does not become aware of something in the area that they may be interrested in. If they succeed in the roll then the dm will announce it to the player.
