DESC: Those that pursue the Mentis Magi skills can communicate mentally with others and can listen to the unguarded thoughts of others. Hearing the thoughts of others is not always ideal and exposure to large groups is deafening and will force a focus check at the users Focus + Mentis Magi levels + 1d20 vs hard difficulty. Failure means you are overwhelmed with the thoughts of others and acquire the dazed effect until you are outside of the source. Once you master the ability to tune out most thoughts you will be able to easily communicate mentally with others and even acts as a silent coordinate of comments between party members.
You can also become a conduit and use the mass of unguarded thoughts within your range into an attack. This can add to the focus checks needed by other skills or powers.
As a Mentis Magi you do not fall victim to mental attacks as easily and may add your Mentis Magi levels to any mental attacks against you.
