Influenza is an airborn viral infection that peaks in the winter months. Every year a new strain of the virus emerges and so no continued immunity exist. The disease is highly infectous but not as lethal as other contagens. With proper care the lethality drops to zero.

Virus - A virus is a very small organism that can only reproduce inside an infected host. Outside of a host it can survive in a dormant state for a long time. They can infect almost any type of living creature, including bateria.
