I found this weapon after watching a show on the Zulu tribe of Africa. The Iklwa is a simple, effective weapon meant as a stabbing weapon to disembowel the enemy. it is meant to be used with a shield. The shield is used to block the targets line of sight of the weapon so it can land before a proper defense can be had....not sure I will alter shield rule to permit this, but it is something I will look into...sounds like a nice use of a shield :D

I researched it, and drew one. I don't know if this is the style you want though...

The Iklwa I saw was from the history channel when they did a special on the Zulu tribe. The Iklwa was a very impressive melee weapon. This looks great, but the shaft of the Iklwa is about half as long and the blade needs a tad more width. While this was mainly a thrusting weapon it was also used to slash opponents.

Shakka Zulu made a truely terrible weapon and it was used to great effect in a time of guns.
