To calculate the experience gained from a fight you can obtain the total by entering the level and xp gain percentage (as a fraction) of the victor (winner) and the fallen (loser) at the end of an encounter. This will represent the xp earned for each victor of that level and that xp gain %, for 1 of the fallen of that level and xp gain %.

The Experience Chart
In Red Ash characters gain a new level based off the collection of experience points from combat and other sources. This experience gain reflects the growth/maturity of the character as they adventure. The Red Ash xp chart reflects a total of 10 (+2 per level) combats at equal level and 100% xp gain each.
Some races will learn faster than others. This is based on the races xp gain percentage that is applied every time experience points are granted. The xp gain percentage of 50% means you will need to win twice as many encounters as a race at 100% xp gain. It is possible to have higher than 100% xp gain, buy not taking any major ability modifiers and maybe even taking a few negative powers.
XP Gain does not affect the experience needed to gain a new level. This chart is for all characters of any class and any race.
